"Fiscal
Planning":
When
is the “right” time for a club’s fiscal year to begin? Is
there a “right” length of time to let the budgeting process take
place? In the member-owned club, who should serve on the budget
committee? What is the most popular time to conduct the annual
meeting and begin a new administrative year? How do most
nominating committees operate?
"Subsidies":
Clubwide
events with a majority of members in attendance are a rarity today. They
have been replaced with smaller, more focused events; however, many
clubs still wrestle with the question of how to pay for these events.
"Technology
and Guest Use":
As the use of
technology becomes more important to our everyday business lives for
news, research and productivity, more solutions are becoming
available that require access to the Internet on a regular basis. The
first part of this survey deals with who in the club has access to the
Internet.
The presence of guests in most clubs is a
daily occurrence. More often, these guests are requesting that some or
all of their charges be billed back to their home clubs. The second part
of this survey deals with how clubs verify those guests and deal with
related charges.
